New 360 camera on a selfie stick off the wing

I created a selfie stick for my experimental RV. I had been playing with different options. The video is produced with an Insta360 3x and the selfie stick that is about 3 feet in front of the end of the wing. It is very secure, based it off a design used on a 185 knot aerobatic plane.



It is magic the way the camera stitched out the selfie stick.

Very cool! How do you have the stick attached to the plane?

I created a clamp that fit on the handle on the RV wing. The stick is made of conduit with a plug with the bolt in the end. I have see version with brackets that use the screws for the wing tips also.

Very nice. It seems like the camera would waggle a lot while the plane is flying. Does the "magic" take care of that in the videos, or am I wrong and the stick is very stable?

Very stable with little to no movement. It is made of conduit and does not flex or move. I use the design from a pilot who has his on a 180 knot RV Rocket flying acrobats. So for my slow SLSA it is great.

Incredible technology. As I watched the video, the word "magic" popped into my mind as well, especially how the mount is rendered invisible.
