Hi,

I'm a french guy interested to learn to fly a LSA.
I live in Philly (19123), I found only 2 places to learn near home.
one in Newcastle Co. Airport (KILG) and other in Trenton Mercer Airport (KTTN)

Let me know if you know other places near ZIP 19123

Thanks
Claudio

Welcome

I am in Limerick KPTW.

The only place close that I am aware of in the area for a Sport Pilot is Chester County they have a Sky Catcher

Welcome aboard, Claudio. You should consider yourself lucky - that's about two more nearby LSA options than most folks have!

Cecil County airport is just down 95 south of Elkton MD. They have a private instructor teaching in an Ercoupe. I don't have his name or number handy but the FBO should be able to help you out.

Keep in mind that you can do the dual in any airplane, such as a C-150, so maybe you could find something like that closer. You could do your dual and then maybe go visit Paul or some other LSA center to do some add-on training prior to the solo and check ride. It may seem like this method takes more time, but maybe it doesn't - it's all individual.
Also, while it's unlikely, you may find a Cub, Champ or other LSA compliant airplane nearby and train in that.
