Thanks Richard and Bill! It's been a fun journey so far, and hoping for a successful checkride on Thursday.

Congratulations from Amanda are great, but where is her scissors?

Not everyone shares in the archaic symbolic clipping of the feathers for first solo flight.

May indeed be archaic, but it keeps us in touch with the Golden Age of Aviation.

Dr. Shuch, I'm not sure of her reasoning, but I guess she's not into that. Which is fine with me... I like that shirt.

Hi Ramiro, I saw your name on the schedule, so I assume the visit went well. Sherman and Amanda are really top-notch folks, aside from being knowledgeable flight instructors. You'll be in very capable hands!

There are plenty books to read on the Golden Age.

Thanks Stan!

So my checkride will be rescheduled. The DPE became ill, plus this morning’s MVFR conditions would have been less-than-ideal anyway.

Looks like your off to a great start. I had to reschedule my check ride multiple times due to weather so don't get discouraged!
