Hello From Wichita!!!

Post by Joe T »

I just found this site. I am Joe T.

I am working on my Sport Pilot License. I am a retired engineer. I started my career at General Dynamics/Ft. Worth in 1981. Then, went to Lockheed Skunk Works (Burbank CA) in 1985. Next was BAE Systems in 1998 - Ontario, California to run their engineering group at the 'Specialty Materials and Composites.' Finally, Hawker Beechcraft in Wichita to run their Technical Engineering directorate from 2008 until Dec. 2010, when I retired.

My background is mostly military aircraft, as you can see. But, I had a few years exposure in the General Aviation world.

Regards,
Joe T.

Welcome to the forum Joe, good luck on your sport pilot training. It's quite an adventure with many great LSA aircraft. What are you training in? I assume that you have a school close by with aircraft.
