I’m sure a lot of east coast bikers have ridden the Cherohala Skyway from Tellico Plains, TN to Robbinsville, NC. Beautiful ride if you haven’t, worthy of a biker’s bucket list, I think. Not a bad drive either, if one is averse to two-wheeled transport.
Anyway, Karen and I went sightseeing in the Sky Arrow today, and I thought I’d share what the highest portion, peaking at 5,390’, looks like from the air in the snow!

I'm more than a little jealous! I used to live in East Tennessee (Townsend) and really miss that area. Such beautiful scenery! Someday...
