Hoping to go on my cross country tonight. Been 30+ knot wind all week so my last couple solo flights got cancelled. And even worse it's wreaked havoc on the big fire here thats about 20 miles away
... praying for some rain for them.
Anyway, I got some ground in instead for cross country planning, some vor stuff etc. Hopefully we can make the trip this evening!

Did my cross country flight tonight!
Made 5 more solo takeoffs/landings at KLIC airport while we were there. My instructor got some videos (but they seem far away in the video).
My GF's house happens to be pretty close to the course we took. She lives in the middle of nowhere like me, on a 1300 acre ranch. On the way back he let me fly over
She got some great shots!!! (zoom makes it look like I was about 6ft above them
)
