Just took my checkride last month. For me, the most important part was to be totally comfortable with my flying. I had gotten my Bravo, Charlie and Delta endorsements during my training so I had that to be concerned with also, as the DPE can pretty much test you on what ever they want to.
But I have to say that I think a large part of what they test on (aside from the PTS) depends on how they perceive your overall comfort level. I may be totally wrong, but I feel that these folks are REALLY good at spotting weakness and if there is much of it, then your checkride could be stressful.
The best advise I can give is to fly your entire checkride solo several times until you really feel like you've gotten your weak spots ironed out. If you can fly fairly effortlessly, everything else is just alot easier i.e., radio calls, checklist procedures etc. and you'll be much less inclined to make a stupid mistake. Hope this makes sense. Good luck, I'll bet you do really well.
